abstract = "As the lacking of theories and methods on the wear life calculation of slipper in the friction pair of sipper and chuck in aero-hydraulic pump, this paper established a new wear life model of slipper based on Archard adhesive wear model and liquid friction work. Firstly, motion and stress analysis of the slipper is conducted in order to clarify the cause of wear followed by the analysis and derivation of the forces related to the wear life of slipper. Then the slipper wear life model is established based on Archard adhesive wear model and liquid friction work. Finally, the slipper of the engine-driven pump of a certain type of aircraft is taken as an example in which the wear life of the slipper is calculated to verify the applicability and accuracy of the wear life model established in this paper.",
