N2 - A new control method applied to minutely adjust clutch's displacement is put forward. When controlling the clutch position of AMT (Automated mechanical transmission) vehicle, it's necessary to make clutch disengage or engage for a certain precise displacement so as to meet the requirement of vehicle's start, especially the start on a slope or the start with ASR (Anti-slip regulation). Hydraulic cylinder is always adopted as the perform institution of AMT vehicle's clutch, but its motion is presented to be subjected to many factors in reality, such as the change of oil's viscosity and the restoring force of spring, which bring difficulty to its control. Using the new method put forward here, the self-adaptation to temperature change can be achieved, and the cylinder's inconsistent load is taken into consideration. It is proved that the error of clutch's position control is within ±0.06 mm and this method has a great ability of fault tolerance.
