N2 - The magnetic and magnetocaloric properties were investigated in Fe 80-xMnxP10B7C3 (x=13, 14, 15, 16, 18) metallic glasses. Tunable Curie temperature and magnetic entropy change are executed by controlling the content of Mn. The average magnetic moment per (Fe+Mn) atom correlates with the magnetic entropy change â̂†SM linearly, which can interpret the decreasing of â̂†SM with increasing Mn. Fe65Mn 15P10B7C3 alloy exhibits the highest refrigeration capacity of 147.09 J kg-1 and moderate peak magnetic entropy of 1.12 J kg-1 K-1 under maximum applied field of 2 T. This family of low-cost Fe-based alloys provides a candidate used as near room-temperature magnetic refrigerant.
