摘要
A multi-scale analysis for turbine guide vanes made of 2D braided SiCf/SiC composites in high-cycle fatigue (HCF) regime is developed in this work. This analysis combines the general method of cells (GMC) program and the finite element method (FEM) software to enable data interactive transfer from micro-scale to macro-scale. Moreover, HCF experiments are performed and then HCF lives of the turbine guide vanes are estimated. Results indicate that the novel multi-scale analysis allows higher accurate prediction of HCF life (within an error band of factor 2.2) compared to the traditional method (within an error band of factor 149.8).
