摘要
The difference between the traditional design flow and the modern design method in improving passage of diesel engine was analyzed, and the critical technique of passage in modern design was introduced. By following the modern design flow, an improved passage of 385 diesel engine was developed and the comparison has been made with the unimproved passage, good effects were gained. The experiment showed the emission level of the improved engine met the emission limits of tier 2rd exhaust emission standards for non-road diesel engines of environmental protection agency, US, without penalty of power performance and fuel economy. So, it is notable that the modern design flow is an effective approach to reduce the design cost of diesel engine and shorten the developing cycle.
