N2 - When the transporter drops the cargo by air, with the moving of the cargo, the inertia parameters such as the mass and the centroid of the transport aircraft will change continuously, which leads to the time-varying characteristics of the model. Therefore, in this paper the time-varying linear model of airdrop is established by combining the separation method and the whole method. Moreover, the PID-based controller is designed. The simulation results of the controller show that the designed controller can effectively track the airdrop reference trajectory under wind disturbance, and restrain the adverse effects of variable mass and centroid caused by cargo movement.
