Missile flight control system design using fuzzy logical gain scheduling

摘要

Designing of robust control systems of missile with good performances is an important and challenge problem because of the characteristics of the highly nonlinearity, time-varying, and uncertainty in missile flight control system. Using the abilities of strong knowledge synthesizing and reasoning of fuzzy logic, the robust self-scheduled flight control system of missile was developed based on H robust control and fuzzy logic techniques. The H robust controller for each operation point was established based on missile fuzzy T-S models and fuzzy scheduling variables. The convex combination of controller for each operation point was implemented using fuzzy weights. The detailed synthesis procedure for fuzzy logic gain self-scheduled controllers was reduced to a convex optimization related to linear matrix inequality (LMI). The proposed method was applied to design a robust flight control system of missile, and the simulation results demonstrated the good effectiveness of the robust controller in tracking the great maneuvering commands. The fuzzy logic, robust control, and linear matrix inequality (LMI) can be integrated to design the missile flight control systems with global stability and robust performance.
