摘要
The ideal holographic 3D display should be able to provide accurate 3D display depth and large depth range. However, accurate 3D display depth has not been achieved, and the depth range is limited by the limited spatial bandwidth product of spatial light modulators. Here, a large-depth-range holographic display system with accurate depth sensitivity is proposed. The core of the proposed system is to use a liquid crystal lens to achieve the large depth display effect. In addition, a hologram calculation method based on phase randomness control is proposed to achieve 3D display with accurate depth sensitivity. In the holographic reconstruction, only the holographic image at a specific depth can be clearly focused and the holographic image at all other depths quickly become blurred. By using the polarization characteristics of the liquid crystal lens, the proposed system can enlarge the depth range and realizes large depth display. The proposed system is easy to apply in near-eye display and has promising applications in education, advertisement and other fields.
