Investigation of fluidized bed drying process by pressure and electrical capacitance tomography

摘要

To investigate the drying process in a fluidized bed, electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) combined with pressure measurement are used to analyze the gas-solids flow characteristics with different operating conditions. The results indicate that the frequency spectrum of pressure presents the fluctuation characteristics of dense particle phase and dilute phase. Further, ECT can be used to measure the moisture and solids concentration in the drying process. The combined pressure measurement and ECT strategy provides a new method for fluidized bed drying control.
