Influence of temperature on the behavior of PDMS and EC FT oxygen-enriched membranes

摘要

Aim To study the influence of temperature on the behavior of poly (dime- thylsiloxane) (PDMS) and ethyl cellulose (EC) facilitated-transport oxygen-enriched membranes. Methods PDMS and EC membranes containing different oxygen carriers were prepared by casting method. The temperature dependence of O2 and N2 permeabilities of the facilitated-transport membranes were investigated. Results and Conclusion It is showed that O 2 and N2 permeabilities increased with the increase of temperature and the apparent activation energy of oxygen permeation decreased while the apparent activation energy of nitrogen permeation increased after adding oxygen carriers to membrane.
