Ideas for developing airborne equipments of China's large aircraft

The necessity of developing aircraft, engine and airborne equipment coordinately is explained in this paper. It is argued that while developing airborne equipment for China's large aircraft should mainly rely on our own research and development (R and D), attention should also be paid to possible international cooperation of various forms for win-win purposes. The paper stresses the need to develop multi-application technology and multi-purpose R and D plat forms so as to raise the rate of fund utilization. To enable China's large aircraft to have a cutting edge in market competition, it is essential to gear the development of airborne equipment with distinct features to the needs of the market. Finally, 11 priority items are proposed.
