HWA measurement and analysis of MD-82 aircraft cabin environment flow field

摘要

The slit jet flow and personalized jet flow in the MD-82 aircraft cabin environment are finely measured by constant-temperature anemometry system with the resolution higher than the smallest time-scale of turbulence. Mean velocity profiles, turbulence intensity distributions and turbulence energy spectrum are analyzed. The variation of mean velocity reveals the decaying of the velocity beyond the outlet. Turbulence intensity evolutions indicate that the degrees of fluctuations are the result of the superimposition of many fluctuations with different scales. The turbulence energy spectrum shows that the inertial sub-range exists. The energy from the energy-containing large scale is cascaded to the small scale through the inertial sub-range, which is finally dissipated into heat.
