摘要
High-temperature metallic sliding wear resistance and mechanisms of a Cr13Ni5Si2 ternary metal silicide alloy toughened by small amount of interdendritic nickel-based solid solution (γ) were studied as a function of wear test temperature. The γ-toughened Cr13Ni5Si2 alloy has excellent wear resistance under high-temperature sliding wear test conditions. Wear volume loss of the Cr13Ni5Si2 alloy was very low and was even slightly decreased with increasing test temperature. The ductile interdendritic γ-phase played a positive role in reducing the wear volume loss of the γ-toughened Cr13Ni5Si2 alloy by prohibiting crack propagation and preventing pulling-out of the broken Cr13Ni5Si2 fragments from the worn surface.
