摘要

High temperature corrosion kinetics and corrosion behavior of T2 titanium alloy were studied by oxidizing in melting salt. At 500, 600, 700°C and 800°C, the relationships of the corrosion weight change of T2 titanium alloys with time were both coincident with linear law in Na2SO4 and Na2SO4(80%) + NaCl(20%). The common linear function was y = KLt, in which constant KL increased with higher temperature. Corrosion in Na2SO4(80%) + NaCl(20%) was more serious than that in Na2SO4 at the same temperature. In Na2SO4 and Na2SO4(80%) + NaCl(20%), the integrality of oxide film decreased when corrosion temperature for T2 increased. During high temperature corrosion, Al and Zr diffused to the surface of alloy and S and Cl diffused into alloy.
