GCSP: A general collaborative simulation platform for complex electromechanical systems

摘要

The paper describes a novel general collaborative simulation platform(GCSP) for complex electromechanical systems. The described GCSP environment is developed with Visual C++, MATLAB/SIMULINK, SQL Server and specialized simulation on Microsoft windows OS. The techniques for integrating sub system models, the processes for collaborative simulation and the major constitutions of GCSP are widely described. After modeling and defining the interface relationships in the modeling/simulation packages integrated in the platform, individual sub system model is copied into the model-assembled section via drag and drop techniques just as adding blocks in MATLAB/SIMULINK. An intelligent model-assembled dialog is presented to add additional MATLAB/SIMULINK blocks such as Demuxes, Muxes, Scopes and interface lines automatically according to the interface connections. Therefore, the overall simulation model for the complex system is assembled. The platform is also responsibility for the management of the collaborative simulation processes, displaying the simulation results and visualizing the movement for the complex system. An application of the platform has been introduced as an example.
