摘要

Precise control of the position of industrial fans in offshore oil platforms ensures that the platform operates properly. Pneumatic systems with positionable cylinders can perform this task. However, in the actual operation process, there are problems such as slow response time and low positioning accuracy. To address the challenges, this article focuses on the control of cylinders in industrial fan position control where only one observable state is variable and all other variables are unobservable. Based on the properties of the system, we present the fuzzy-based output feedback control strategy with state-wide constraints and input saturation which involves designing an observer to estimate the states by using the fuzzy logic system. The proposed method is compared with the classical PID as well as the recent observer-based neural network control (OBNNC) strategy which also considers constraints by conducting control experiments. The comparative experimental results demonstrate that the method we proposed can achieve precise positional control with position constraints and short response time.
