N2 - Launch vehicles are of irreplaceable importance to the aerospace industry but have the drawback of being sensitive to failures, thus it is necessary to enhance the reliability and safety of flight of launch vehicles in case of failure. This paper proposed a fault-tolerant control method based on fuzzy integral nonsingular terminal sliding mode control and action-dependent heuristic dynamic programming to control the launch vehicle attitude system suffering from actuator faults and external disturbances. The control-oriented models for launch vehicle attitude system and actuator faults are established, and a fuzzy sliding mode controller is designed accordingly. After that, an adaptive dynamic programming algorithm is introduced to the fuzzy sliding mode controller to suppress the chattering and enhance the control effect. Numerical simulation is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the control scheme.
