N2 - The Reaction Control System (RCS) plays an important role in the reentry phase of hypersonic vehicles (HVs). Aiming at the problem that the existing control allocation methods have insufficient fault tolerance for RCS faults, this paper investigates an RCS control allocation system for HVs with fault tolerance for multiple thrusters' fault. The HV attitude control system of the reentry phase is established. The daisy chain method is adopted for the control allocation between the rudders and RCS. For the RCS with 8 thrusters, the optimal dual-indexed lookup table method is designed and its reconfiguration strategies that have fault tolerance for multiple thrusters' faults are developed. Finally, the simulation results indicate that the proposed control allocation methods have satisfactory performance in terms of rapidity, accuracy, and robustness.
