摘要

The macro and micro fatigue cracking characteristics of actual wing structures under two load spectra were observed. It was found that the macro and micro fracture characteristics of the failed structures were the reflection of stress changes in load spectrum and that the fatigue life of the structures could be retro estimated by fractography. The crack propagation lives for several typical fracture surfaces on the wing structures of real airplanes were retro estimated and the formation sequences of the cracks were obtained from the fracture surfaces.
