摘要
The circular shaped ZnS nanowires were synthesized using genome DNA of Escherichia coli as templates for the first time. The morphology and structure of the products have been characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). Cubic sphalerite structure of ZnS nanowires was established by X-ray diffraction (XRD) characterization. The optical properties of the obtained ZnS nanocircles were investigated by Ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectra.The possible growth mechanism of the nano-ZnS is briefly discussed.
