摘要

An experimental study of ⁸He + p elastic scattering and a search for ⁸He^* as observed in two independent experimental methods. The obtained parameters of the excited state are E_⁸He^* = 3.57±0.12 MeV, Γ =0.5±0.35 MeV, Γ_⁴He+4n/Γ_⁶He+n+n ≤ 5%. Angular distributions for elastic and inelastic scattering are measured. The inelastic angular distribution is consistent with J^π = 2⁺ for ⁸He_3.55^*.
