摘要
Experimental investigations are performed to evaluate ethanol defrosting effectiveness on cryogenic surfaces (-140 °C ±5 °C) under forced convection conditions. The results show that ultrasonic atomization of ethanol solutions into the primary airflow effectively inhibits frost layer growth. The degree of thickness reduction depends on the concentration of ethanol solution. The application of an ethanol solution elevates the frost layer density while simultaneously influencing its thermal conductivity. Ethanol solutions demonstrate proven efficacy for cryogenic defrosting, highlighting promising applications in this technical domain.
