摘要
The ground experimental studies on flame spread across solid fuel surface were conducted under various ambient pressures. The results show that flame-spread rates are sensitive to ambient pressure and decreases as the ambient pressure decreases in a lower range of ambient pressures. But in a higher ambient pressure, the flame-spread rates are independent of ambient pressure. Based on the results, analyses of mechanisms of the flame spread across solid fuel surfaces in various ambient pressures were suggested.
