Experimental research on ignition and lean blowout for micro gas turbine ethanol combustor

摘要

An experimental investigation was conducted on the combustor of micro gas turbine burning ethanol as a renewable biomass fuel, including 4 kinds of fuel supply modes. The ignition and lean blowout performance characteristics of this combustor under atmospheric pressure and temperature inlet condition were obtained. The research results indicate that, at atmospheric pressure and temperature, the equivalence ratios of lean ignition and lean blowout for the ethanol combustor with swirl-cup decrease with the increasing airflow rate, and the swirl-cup combustor has better ignition and lean blowout performance than the premixed prevaporized combustor.
