abstract = "Experiment and numerical model were conducted to understand mechanical property and failure mechanism of T800/HT-280 composite stringer/skin runout structure under tensile load. The debonding initiation load is 31. 68kN and interlayer failed at the load of 51.18kN. The debonding starts at the center of runout tip and is dominated by mode II fracture. Besides, mechanical properties of stringer with curve and slash section are analyzed with numerical models. The curve section stringer/skin structure can postpone damage initiation but accelerate damage spread compared to the slash, which can be explained by severely change of stiffness.",
