N2 - I n the original publication, the TEM (Figure 1a) and SEM images (Figure S1a−c in the Supporting Information) were mislabeled with the same scale bars of 2 μm. Please keep in mind that we did not perform any image analysis based on the false scale bar. The true ruler information was actually burned into each image in the lower right corner by the SEM instrument in Figure S1a−c, and we now highlight the true scale bars in the corrected Figure S1 for easier observation. In Figure 1a, we captured TEM images of GNRs prepared using the same protocol. Figure 1a has been corrected to include a TEM image with the correct scale bar. GNRs have an average length of 45.2 nm and a diameter of 12.8 nm. The average aspect ratio of 3.5 is nearly identical to those in Figure 1a. We also measured the optical absorbance of the GNRs, as shown in corrected Figure 1b, which has the same transverse and longitudinal peaks as the original publication. In addition, on page 8 of the Supporting Information, we mentioned the sentence “set to 100 nm in diameter”, which should be corrected to “set to 15 nm in diameter and 50 nm in length”. We re-examined the simulated field distribution with a more reasonable size, and corrected Figure 2b,c with the corrected Figure 2. This correction has no effect on any of the experimental findings, discussions, or conclusions presented in this paper.
