N2 - Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) of radio wave has been considered as a promising technique to greatly improve the transmission rate in communication systems. The most common method to generate the OAM radio wave is to use an antenna array. However, a detailed analysis of the effect of the antenna type, number of elements, and frequency on OAM radio waves with directional antenna array are not given. In this paper, we investigate these effects on the beam angle, beam width, and maximum gain for the OAM wave, with the mathematical model generated by a circular directional antenna array.
