N2 - In the industrial fluidization processes, it is essential to perform the online monitoring of the dynamic phase distributions, in order to understand its internal behaviors. The electromagnetic tomography (EMT), electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) and electrical resistance tomography(ERT) have been introduced to investigate the complex multi-phase flows in various industries. The principle and differences of these tomographic modalities have been summarized. Furthermore, the dual-modality electrical tomography that consists of two or more different measuring modalities has more potentials in the two-phase and three-phase flow measurement. The representative dual-modality fusion methods that implemented in the recent researches have been analyzed and the future trend of dual-modality fusion method has also been discussed. pic: FocusSession.
