摘要

This study investigated effects of ozone addition and nitrogen dilutions on detonation for hydrogen/oxygen mixtures. The results show that ozone addition is only a chemical kinetics change in detonation structure rather than the thermal change. For XO3=1% and XN2>55%, the two-stage temperature behaviors appears due to bimodal thermicity, which more obvious as XN2= 86%. It is also found that the end of the first-stage is denoted by the ozone consumption and oxygen production, which is dominant for low temperature ignition of plasma. While the second stage finishes when there is significant consumption of hydrogen peroxide, which are the signatures of intermediate- and high-temperature oxidation channels. Furthermore, cell sizes of detonation were estimated by using Ng's model. There are double cellular structure caused by two induced lengths when the XO3=1% and XN2>55%.
