摘要
The flow field and secondary flow in a high-pressure turbine with and without coolant injection from rim seals were studied numerically. The effects of coolant injection with four different cooling air mass flow percentage at 1.4%, 2.5%, 3.75% and 4.5%, respectively was investigated. The results suggest that the cooling air plays a role in turbine performance and main structure of flow field. It decreases turbine efficiency. The negative angle of incidence increases as the rate of the cooling air increases. The negative angle of incidence can cause flow separation.
