摘要

The microstructure and corrosion behaviour of WE43 alloy in Hank's balanced salt solution (HBSS) containing different glucose concentrations were studied. The WE43 alloy was predominantly comprised of an α-Mg matrix, interspersed with RE-rich precipitates, notably Mg24Y5 and Mg41Nd5. The corrosion rate of WE43 alloy was progressively decreased as glucose concentration increased. The enhancement in corrosion resistance can primarily be ascribed to the development of a more solid corrosion products film under a higher glucose concentration, which was induced by the adsorption effect of glucose and its reaction with the metal cations of Mg2 +, Ca2+ in the corrosive media.
