摘要
The determination of the COR (center of the rotation) of the rotating table is a key step to set up an industrial computed tomography system. The error of the COR can lead to artifacts in CT (computed tomography) image. The current popular methods about COR determination were described and their disadvantages were presented. Based on the analysis, one novel method was put forward. The proposed algorithm was based on the redundancy character of sinogram, and the COR was located by calculating the position at which the sum of the sinogram data was divided equally. As compared with the current methods, the proposed algorithm need not any phantom and geometry parameter, and is hardly affected by random noise. The feasibility of the method is validated by the experiment data.
