Designated-Time Stabilization for Constrained Nonlinear Systems With Time-Varying Powers and Actuator Faults

摘要

This paper proposes a designated-time fault-tolerant stabilizing strategy for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with time-varying powers and asymmetric output constraints. We first establish the new fault separation inequality and the existence lemma of solutions for constrained non-autonomous systems, and then design a continuous controller ensuring that the state of investigated systems enters an arbitrarily adjustable small neighborhood of the origin within an arbitrarily designated time instant and ultimately converges to the origin. Our control strategy is capable of dominating unmatched time-varying powers and multiple uncertainties while unifying the designated-time stabilization for time-varying nonlinear systems with or without output constraints. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is demonstrated through the stabilization of the liquid-level system and the dynamic system of a boiler-turbine unit.
