Design of electromagnetic induced transparency like Plasmonic Fano Metamaterials Promising for THz Sensor

摘要

A kind of metamaterial based on asymmetric closed split ring resonator (SRR) combined structure is designed for the high precision Terahertz (THz) sensor. By increasing the value of asymmetry degree S, an electromagnetic transparency window appearing. The simulation results indicate that there is a window between 0.874 THz and 0.9734 THz, and the peak is at 0.91 THz. This resonance is a kind of none-radiative damping which is easily to be broken. Analysis about the structure used in this work has been performed. And through the analysis, we figured out the reason that the structure is promising for sensor.
