abstract = "A novel random chessboard structure with broadband backward RCS reduction and bistatic stealth characteristics is proposed in this paper. The simulated results show that the proposed random chessboard can be optimized, has ultra-wide frequency band with backscatter RCS reduction higher than 10 dB spanning from 10.8 GHz to 19.8 GHz (Relative bandwidth is 58.8\%) and good bistatic stealth characteristic.",
