title = "Deimos encounter trajectories design for piggyback spacecraft launched for martian surface reconnaissance",
abstract = "The paper deals with the orbit design and analysis for the multi-body exploration about Mars and its Moon (Deimos) with the hitching restrictions on the trajectory and mass (or the ability of orbital maneuvers). The head orbiter hitched circles on the Sun-Synchronous orbit with its inclination of 92.7°, and the following orbiter hitching is expected to stay at the critical elliptical orbit with its inclination of 116.6° and planed to rendezvous by flyby with Deimos as more as 280 times. And then based on the analysis on the solar elevation of the subpoints, imaging Deimos is scheduled during the descending passes in the early phase of the mission, and imaging the Martian surface is scheduled during the ascending passes in the later phase.",
