Degrading process simulation of aviation hydraulic pump with lifetime experiment data based on hidden semi-Markov model

摘要

Life of an exact aviation hydraulic pump is commonly determined by lifetime experiment with a load spectrum which usually takes a long period of time. Real operation of a flight follows a stochastic process with varying conditions, which leads to the differences between test data and practical data. To address this problem, we introduce a hidden semi-Markov model(HSMM) with parameters determined by cumulative damage to simulate degrading process of practical flights by using test data. Stages of work are divided by diverse working conditions of aviation hydraulic pump in a flight. Transition matrix and duration distribution of the hidden semi-Markov model are then confirmed by decomposing load level spectrum in different stages. Then cumulative damage is calculated by double linear damage rule(DLDR). Monte Carlo simulation is employed to display degrading states in time domain. When the distribution of duration time cannot meet the necessary of a flight, termination of life is obtained.
