摘要

Objective: To measure the exact mass, volume and density of human corpse kidney, obtain the correlation between the density and histomorphology, and to provide an easy and reliable diagnostic method for anatomy, pathology and forensic medicine. Methods: Kidneys were obtained by pathological autopsy, and the mass, volume and density were synchronously measured with the electronic intellectualized volume-densimeter developed by us. Results: The density value of normal kidney was (1.4393 ± 0.0797)g/cm3, that of kidneys with mild, moderate, and severe pathological changes was (1.1589 ± 0.0494)g/cm3, (1.0448 ± 0.0271)g/cm3 and (0. 9213 ± 0.1001)g/cm3. There were significant differences among grades of density distinguished by normal and diffuse pathological changes (P<0.01). Conclusion: There is a close correlation between the density and tissue morphology of kidneys. Kidney density can reflect the degree of diffuse pathological changes.
