abstract = "Considering the practical limited communication rate, it is both beneficial and necessary to introduce quantization and consider its corresponding influence in multi-missile cooperative guidance. In this paper, a quantized leader-follower cooperative guidance method is proposed to achieve quantized consensus, wherein the multi-missile system accomplishes cooperative attack at the desired time while reducing the communication data rate. The communication protocol is formulated based on the second-order coordination variable systems with partially measurable state. The dynamic non-uniform quantizer is adopted to optimize the quantization effect and obtain as few quantizer levels as possible. In addition, the convergence of multi-missile collaboration error is illustrated. Numerical simulation proves the validity of the proposed method.",
