摘要
Corner separation which is an inherent flow structure in compressor cascade has an important impact on the performance of the compressor. This paper proposed slot at the root of the blade from the pressure side to the suction side by analyzing flow mechanism on two cascades which are PVD and NACA cascade. Numerical study has been conducted on PVD cascade by changing the slot outlet position. An optimal slot outlet position has been found for the whole inflow incidence angles. Optimization of slot parameters and experiment validation by the optimized slot configuration has been done on NACA cascade. Research on these two cascades shows that: slot at the root of the blade has a positive effect on controlling of the corner separation, reducing cascade loss, improving static pressure rise and enlarging available range of incidence angle.
