摘要
Based on contention forwarding and IEEE 802.11 DCF protocol, a contention-based cross-layer routing (CCR) protocol for mobile ad hoc network was proposed. It implements the contention forwarding of DATA packets by utilizing BRTS/CTS/DATA/ACK four-time handshake mechanism, which is aided by location information, and solves the void communication problem by means of differentiating priorities. The performance of the CCR protocol was evaluated on OPNET simulation platform. Simulation results show that CCR outperforms DSR and LAR1 protocols in terms of packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay and control overhead.
