Constant output power control of variable trailing-edge flap wind power system based on feedback linearization

摘要

The variable trailing-edge flap concept is introduced in the blades of the wind power system with trailing-edge flaps. When wind speed exceeds the rated value, the wind turbine could adjust trailing-edge flaps to control rotational speed at the rated value, which realizes the control of constant output power. At first the article presents the nonlinear model of wind turbine system with variable trailing-edge flaps. The nonlinear model of wind power system with trailing-edge flaps is global exactly linearized by differential geometry feedback linearization. In the new linearized model, the feedback controller is designed through pole configuration. The simulation results show that the control strategy is capable of constant output power of wind power system effectively with desirable performances and robustness.
