abstract = "Focus on energy saving, a compound control strategy of independent metering directional valve with load-sensing technology for engineering machinery is proposed. The compound controller is designed for four quadrants work modes. The basic principle of independent metering directional valve with load-sensing technology for engineering machinery is introduced. Then the nonlinear model of the load independent control system is developed. The complete simulation model is built by AMESim and Matlab. The compound controller which combine of motion control and pressure control is studied based on simulation. The simulation results indicate that this proposed control strategy for the independent metering directional valve can be more energy-saving and reliable than the traditional load-sensing system.",
