摘要
Survey of studying compatibility between optic fiber and matrix has been presented. The influence of embedding optic fiber on mechanical performance after curing, possibility of optic fiber sensing and manufacture ability of polymer sensors with based composite embedding optic fiber were discussed. The theoretical and experimental foundation for optimum combination was provided. The two kinds of real manufacture processing of embedding optic fiber smart composite were given and key designs of optic fiber ingress/egress were compared and assessed.
