摘要
Cooling effectiveness was compared, based upon experimental data, between central (CP) and high-positioned (HP) air inlet rotating disk systems. It was found that the high-positioned mode is better in reducing the disk radial temperature difference, though the differences of averaged Nusselt number and the averaged excessive body temperature are quite small between the two cases. It was concluded that the radial temperature difference should be included in determining cooling effectiveness.
