摘要
Carbon adulterated Co3O4 negative electrode for lithium-ion batteries was prepared by electrodeposition-sintering method. XRD analysis illustrated that the electrodeposited substance was Co(OH)2, and after vacuum sintering at 245°C, the Co(OH)2 was converted into Co3O4. Energy dispersed spectrum (EDS) analysis indicated that adding formaldehyde (HCHO) in the solution made the plating film contain carbon. SEM images showed that adding HCHO the in solution made the distance between holes and the number of holes in plating film increase, while thickness of hole wall decrease. The additives of HCHO improved the stability of electrode in the process of Li/Co3O4 battery discharging and increased battery capacity as well. The electrode performance test showed that the cycle life of the battery was improved substantially by adding HCHO.
