Bionic Flapping Wing Bending and Twisting Coupled Motion Modeling

摘要

In this paper, the current status of the research on fluid-structure interactions (FSI) of flexible flapping wings is analyzed. Based on the limitations of the current FSI structural analysis method, it is pointed out that it is necessary to analyze the two-degree-of-freedom flexible flapping wings FSI problem. That is, the theoretical model is established based on the bending and torsional deformation characteristics of the flexible flapping wings FSI. The Euler beam theory and Theodorsen theory are used to model the bending-torsional coupling model theoretically. The Galerkin method is used to solve the theoretical model. The obtained numerical results are compared with the high-fidelity simulation results, and the results are basically consistent, which verifies that the theoretical model established in this paper has the accuracy that can be used for the analysis of engineering problems. Finally, the forward design process of the flexible flapping wings structural parameters is proposed by combining the theoretical model and the propulsive wave theory.
