N2 - Best linear unbiased estimate method for type-I censored data is presented. The best linear unbiased estimators of the parameters of location-scale distribution and their covariance matrixes are put forward, and the confidence intervals of the parameters, percentiles and percentages from type-I censored data are given. The methods for type-I censored data from Weibull distribution and log-normal distribution are discussed in detail. Compared with the maximum likelihood estimation(MLE) which is commonly used for type-I censored data in engineering, the presented method can reach a high precision by simple calculation, and the estimators show best unbiased property with small sample.
