Automatic design optimization of compressor blades based on hybrid genetic algorithm

摘要

One of the hybrid genetic algorithms applied in automatic design optimization has been established by combining a real-number encoded self-adaptive genetic algorithm with complex method. The introduction of complex method has notably improved the capability of local search. Compare with self-adaptive genetic algorithm, the hybrid genetic algorithm (HGA) has much higher efficiency. Having few control points, but allowing flexible manipulation, the Bezier representation was chosen to describe the compressor blade elements. The numerical simulation was carried out by a CFD code based on solution of two dimensional N-S equations. The optimization result for certain NACA airfoil demonstrates that the developed platform based on HGA is effective and efficient.
