摘要
This paper reviews the effects of key design parameters and operating conditions to swirl cup, which is applied widely to modern aeroengine combustor, on the characteristics of atomization, aerodynamics and combustion. The key parameters of swirl cup include the configurations of double swirlers, Venturi, sleeve, swirl numbers of swirlcr, angle and shape of sleeve flare, the relative dimensions of Venturi and sleeve. These parameters combined with the primary holes design of combustor control the atomization and aerodynamics downstream of swirl cup, thus control the combustion performances, such as ignition, blow-out and combustion efficiency. These discussions are the theory and experience bases of the design of this kind of combustor and the important references of optimization and improvement of the combustion performances.
